SAMPLE REPERTOIRE

The ECS has been singing large-scale, choral masterworks for over 30 years, so it would be difficult to list all the pieces we have performed. What do we mean by "large-scale, sacred choral masterworks"? Here is a list of recent pieces that are indicative of our repertoire:

  • "Five Mystical Songs", by Ralph Vaughan Williams
  • Cantata BWV 21, "Iche Hatte Viel Bekümmernis", by J.S. Bach
  • Mass in D Minor, by Antonín Dvorák
  • "Coronation Mass", by W.A. Mozart
  • "Gloria", by John Rutter
  • Kyrie (from 1825), by Felix Mendelssohn
  • Te Deum ("Utrecht"), by G.F. Handel
  • "Prayers of Kierkegaard", by Samuel Barber
